Date, time, distance, weather format

Format display can be updated on the TripIt website. The time format in the TripIt app can be set from your device settings.

You can set your preferences for date (mm/dd/yyyy, dd/mm/yyyy, or yyyy/mm/dd), distance (miles or kilometers [km]), time (am/pm or 24 hour clock), and/or weather (Fahrenheit or Celsius) on the TripIt website.

Here's how:

1. Click the Profile icon (top right).
2. Click Settings > 'Display Preferences'.
3. Make your selections.
4. Save.

The time and distance format displayed in the TripIt app is set from your device settings, not within the TripIt app settings.

Time:

• Android: Settings > System > Date & Time > Use 24-hour format.
• iOS: Settings > General > Date & Time > 24-Hour Time.

Distance:

• Android: Settings > System > Languages & Input > Languages.
• iOS: Settings  > General > Language & Region > Region.
