Date, time, distance, weather format

Format display can be updated on the TripIt website. The time format on our Android and iOS apps can be set from your device settings.

You can set your preferences for date (mm/dd/yyyy, dd/mm/yyyy, or yyyy/mm/dd), distance (miles or kilometers [km]), time (am/pm or 24 hour clock), and/or weather (Fahrenheit or Celsius) on our website.

Website

You may have noticed we've redesigned our web experience. You may still have the option to access your account from our legacy site so we've included instructions for both.

From our new web experience:

1. Click the Profile icon (top right).
2. Click 'Settings' > 'Display Preferences'.
3. Make your selections then click Save.

From our legacy site:

1. Sign in and then click on your user name (upper right of the page). 
2. Select 'Settings' > 'About you'. 
3. Make your selections then click Save.

The time format (am/pm or 24 hour clock) displayed on  our Android and iOS apps is set from your device settings not within the TripIt app settings.

• Android: Settings > System > Date & Time > Use 24-hour format.
• iOS: Settings > General > Date & Time > 24-Hour Time.
