Setting your home location prevents single item home-city events like dinner reservations from importing to your account. We will not automatically import restaurant confirmation emails within 50 miles of your home location.
In the TripIt website:
- Click your profile icon (top right).
- Click 'Account' > 'Profile'.
- From here, you can update home location.
- Remember to click 'Save' before leaving the page.
From our legacy site:
- Click your user name (top right).
- Select 'Settings' > 'About You'.
- From here, you can update your home location.
- Remember to click 'Save' before leaving the page.
In the TripIt app:
- Tap the 'Account' tab (bottom right).
- Tap your name/email address (top of screen).
- Click 'Edit'
- From here, you can update your home city.
- Remember to tap 'Save' before leaving the screen.
