Inbox Sync posting local city events

Setting your home location prevents single item home-city events like dinner reservations from importing to your account. We will not automatically import restaurant confirmation emails within 50 miles of your home location.


In the TripIt website:

  1. Click your profile icon (top right).
  2. Click 'Account' > 'Profile'.
  3. From here, you can update home location.
  4. Remember to click 'Save' before leaving the page.


From our legacy site:

  1. Click your user name (top right).
  2. Select 'Settings' > 'About You'.
  3. From here, you can update your home location.
  4. Remember to click 'Save' before leaving the page.


In the TripIt app:

  1. Tap the 'Account' tab (bottom right).
  2. Tap your name/email address (top of screen).
  3. Click 'Edit'
  4. From here, you can update your home city.
  5. Remember to tap 'Save' before leaving the screen.
