Reset your calendar feed

Modified on Fri, 12 Jan 2024 at 12:18 AM

If you  are having trouble with your calendar not syncing properly or you wish to force an update, you can reset your feed.

Note that some calendar applications will reset on their own (Google Calendar, for example, can take up to a day before you see changes), so you may want to wait. But if the problem doesn't clear up, try these steps:

Website

You may have noticed we've redesigned our web experience. You still have the option to access your account from our legacy site so we've included instructions for both.

From our new web experience:

  1. Click the Profile icon (top right).
  2. Select 'Settings'.
  3. Click 'Calendar Feed' (left navigation bar).
  4. Click the 'Reset Calendar Feed URL'.
  5. Copy the new URL to your calendar application.
  6. Wait about 15 minutes for your data to sync.

From our legacy site:

  1. Click your user name (top right).
  2. Select 'Settings'.
  3. Click 'Publishing your Data' (left navigation bar) and click the Refresh button  in the upper-right corner of the page (in the Calendar Feed section).
  4. Copy the new feed URL from the TripIt Home page.
  5. Add the new URL to your calendar application.
  6. Wait about 15 minutes for your data to sync.

Android and iOS:

  1. Select Account to navigate to Settings.
  2. Find the Calendar Sync section.
  3. Tap Reset Calendar Feed URL.
