Apple Watch Complications

TripIt now supports Apple Watch complications. With a complication, TripIt users can see the next travel plan at a glance on any Apple Watch face.

How it Works: 

Customize your watch face by adding a TripIt complication. The complication presents the current or upcoming trip item at a glance, and depending on the watch face, additional information about the flight or travel plan. Complications also provide a shortcut to the TripIt app from the watch face - tap on the complication to view more details of your upcoming travel plan in the TripIt app for Apple Watch.

TripIt Pro users will see flight status indicators in some complications.  Complications must be installed on your Apple Watch before they can be added to an Apple Watch face. To add a complication to your Apple Watch: 

1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. 
2. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap Complications. 
3. Tap Edit 
4. Tap  next to TripIt. 

To customize your watch face to include the TripIt complication: 

1. Press the Digital Crown to go to the watch face. 
2. Firmly press the display. 
3. Swipe left or right to choose a face, then tap Customize.  
4. Swipe left or right to select a feature, then turn the Digital Crown to change it.  
5. Swipe all the way to the left to edit complications. Tap a complication area to select it, then turn the Digital Crown to change it.  
6. Scroll with the Digital Crown until you find TripIt. 
7. When you’re finished, press the Digital Crown to save your changes.   

To add the TripIt complication to an existing Apple Watch Face from the iOS Watch app: 

1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. 
2. Tap the My Watch tab. 
3. Tap on an existing Apple Watch face in the My Faces section. 
4. Tap on a complication to edit 
5. Scroll until you find TripIt.
