Handling itinerary cancellations

Inbox Sync or forward a cancellation email to plans@tripit.com for a flight, hotel, or car rental from one of our supported vendors (listed below) to remove a plan from your trip.


How it works:

  1. Inbox Sync or forward your cancellation email to plans@tripit.com from one of our supported vendors.
  2. Open your trip on the TripIt Android or iOS app.
  3. Tap 'Needs Review' next to the plan you want to delete.
  4. Tap 'Delete' to remove the plan from your trip.

This feature is only available through the TripIt app for car, hotel and flights. If you are viewing your trip on our website and/or have forwarded a cancellation email from an unsupported vendor, you can manually delete the canceled plan from your itinerary.  Our help pages have instructions on manually removing a plan on our website and TripIt apps
