If you received an email titled 'Unable to merge your TripIt accounts', please read below:
Sometimes, a newly created account cannot be merged with an older one. If you'd still like both email addresses on the same account, one workaround is to delete one account, then re-add that email address to the existing account.
Please be advised that once an account is deleted, all associated trips with that account are also removed. Therefore, we recommend exercising caution when deleting an account. If you still wish to delete an account, we recommend deleting the account with the fewest trips (upcoming and past).
1st step: Delete account
- Sign into the account you wish to delete.
- Click the Profile icon (top right).
- Click Account > Profile.
- Click "Delete Account".
TripIt app:
- Sign into the account you wish to delete.
- Tap Account (bottom right).
- Tap your name/email address (top of page).
- Click "Delete Account".
2nd step: Add the email address to the remaining account
- Sign into the remaining account.
- Click the Profile icon (top right).
- Select Account > Profile.
- Click "Add Email Address".
- Enter the email address from the account you just deleted.
TripIt app:
- Sign into the remaining account.
- Tap Account (bottom right).
- Tap your name (top of page).
- Tap "Add another email address".
- Enter the email address from the account you just deleted.
- If you are an SAP Concur customer, you may need to reconnect your TripIt and SAP Concur accounts. Please see our help page for instructions.
- If you've forgotten the password to any of your accounts, click Forgot password.
